Business To Business Marketing Ideas?
I am in the process of starting up a small business. There are 2 parts to my business. One is Business to Business (getting local wedding service providers to advertise on y web site) and the second is to get local area brides to visit my web site. I am in a bit of a catch 22 situation. I can’t get Brides to my site if I don’t have valuable information from local services providers. I cannot get local service providers to invest their advertising dollars in my web site because right now there are very few brides visiting my site…. How do I overcome this?

Ahhhh…. the age old question.
In order to get advertisers to your website you will need to first show them you have visitors. So concentrate on your local brides getting to your site first. To do this you have to master Search Engine Optimization (SEO). You will need to find key words that are relevant to your brides, so that when they search for those words, your site comes up in Google or Yahoo. The first thing any SEO expert will tell you to do is to have unique and original content (articles) on your site. Search engines love this. You may also want to use Yahoo or Google search marketing. It may cost a bit per month, but will drive enormous amounts of traffic to your site.
Second, you may want to consider advertising your site in local papers or in local bridal magazines. Next, you don’t have to wait for a company to advertise with you in order to start generating revenue – simply sign up as an affiliate with online bridal companies (when your brides click through to their site, you get a commission if they buy something.) Also, make sure you sign up with Google adsense for additional revenue generators.
Once all of this is in place, keep adding new content to your site. Before long, you will probably have local companies calling you to advertise!!

I really dont think you’d need the information from local service providers… Lets look at the two things you need… the brides to your site, and only then the advertisements… You could do a million things to get brides to your site… The 2 big things in recent times are probably the success of reality TV. Have you realized how popular these shows are with the masses? I personally dont really enjoy these shows : ) but i know millions of other people do… which led to the other big thing : ) .. blogs. I’m guessing these are hits cause people love to know whats going on with other people,,, how they feel and how they react to different situations, REAL people. Affect emotions. If you could get people to share wedding experiences that were funny, upsetting, even scary… If i was getting married, i’d probably wanna check it out… but it has to be REAL… real stories, real people… good luck!!
