Marketing Web Design Business?
I have a web design business in the United States but I will be working from Brazil. I will recruit resellers in the United States that will offer my web design packages to local businesses in the US.
Please note that they won’t be using the net to get clients, they will actually go and talk to local businessmen. These resellers will earn about $400 for a basic package sale, $500-700 for the advanced package. They will be earning a little bit more than me for each sale they make. Clients will order a package from the reseller by paying him a 50% deposit. Then the reseller will place an order at my website and pay me a 50%. I will complete the website for the reseller, the reseller will get the other 50% from his client and will pay me 50% of the total I quoted him. This way, the reseller does not have to invest anything. He pays for the website with part of the money he gets from his client. Do you think this plan will work? Tell me your opinions, please. Welllll my grandparrents have mansions in brazil and my family stays at them for vacacion every so often, and Internet there is like limited to dial up. maybe unless you live in a big city..
It is cheap to build there, but I don;t see how you could run the business from brazil for an american company and provide the best service.
In my mind, The web designer should show up to someone’s company and meet with them to pinpoint exactly what they want, and how they want it to look, and be there to take professional pictures and stuff. If the person selling the website to the company and who is meeting with the people is not making the website, i see issues in that. it should be the designer meeting with the company so they can get an idea of what they want. What you don’t make the website the way they want it?
